It was another great day of fly fishing. This morning we found fish feeding on the surface as early as 8:30 so we made the switch from nymphs to the 18 adams. Long casts into tight spots helped us with our success.
This has been a great summer of fly fishing in Northeast Iowa. The water levels have stayed up and the trout seems healthy. If you have not been on the streams this summer make sure to plan a trip for the fall. It seems like it will be a good one.
