    • Quick get after fish trip, learn a few things or two, reading water, where fish hide, catch a few.
    • Great package for those that don’t have a lot of time but want to fish in all kinds of conditions.

  • 90 Minute Breakdown – $150 per person (No Max on amount of people). Lessons on casting, bug life, advance rigging skills and fly tying.
    • All 90 Minute Breakdowns are also available in Virtual Classroom depending on subject matter and request.
    • All 90 Minute Breakdowns are also available at your choice of location depending on travel and schedule (extra charges are included for travel outside Decorah, IA).

Gratuity for your guide is not included in the pricing.

What’s included?

All trips can include flies, leader, and tippet if needed.  A lunch will be provided for full day trips consisting of a fresh homemade sandwich with some local ingredients, organic apple, and a snack.

What can I expect?

Every guided trip is tailored to you and your personal skill level, ensuring that you have a positive and enjoyable learning experience.  If you are a first time fly fisher, a casting lesson may precede your trip to ensure you feel confident before stepping into the water.

The start time for full and half day trips can vary due to monthly water temperatures  and your schedule.  We will meet you in Decorah unless other arrangements are made.
