thanks, the website is in progress, still a lot of work to be done on it, doing it all myself. I'm going to the Big Green right across from Bloody Run into Wisconsin about 20 or 30 miles on Saturday. This time I will make sure I have everything I need. You should go back to Bloody run, the first section is somewhat good, but once you get the railroad bridge everything after that has a lenght limit and they dont stock it. It's overgrown so you pretty much have to get into the stream the whole time but there is a lot of quick and fast stuff with rocks in the middle and nice rock structure along the banks, my buddy had a blast with his fly rod, all the fish were natural too, and he lost a very big fish.

I like your website. I checked it out and read about your fishing trip. To bad about the fly rod. Not a good way to start a trip.
I will have to make a trip East to fish those 3 streams. I have fished Bloody but it has been years.

<a href="#comment-15" rel="nofollow">@Skoda </a>
It was a couple of weeks ago after some rain, it was very clear and more narrow and quick with some nice holes, a lot slimmer then say the Bear's. It appears some time ago they did a lot of embankment work which seems to be holding very well, there wasnt really cut in spots where dirt would be getting into the stream. There are a few chubs but there is some very nice fish in there. It's very overgrown and hasnt been touched in some time, you can tell they are not stocking because of fallen tree's over the road etc. I would have to say it's the most "out of the way" place I've trout fished in Iowa, even more the Coon.

You ever fished the North Cedar by Mcgregor? I was up there the other weekend, not a lot of fish and hard to get too, but they were natural and nice sized for sure.

It would have been just a night of blood donating had it not been for the fine guiding. Thanks for helping me hook a couple.
